I’m a single dad to an amazing daughter who keeps me grounded and makes me smile daily. This is my first time on a dating site—and while it feels a bit like shouting into the void with a hopeful heart, here I am. Why? Because I genuinely miss the company of a woman. Not just any woman, but someone who laughs loudly, loves deeply, and sees the world with a mix of curiosity, kindness, and sarcasm.

I’m a liberal feminist who believes in equity, empathy, and dancing to whatever beat life throws at us (figuratively and literally—I’ve mixed live music across every genre on almost every continent since I was 18). From rock in Rio, punk in Berlin and ballet in Mexico city. I’ve lived a life on the road chasing sound and soul but now I'm back looking after my mom who's been ill for a few years. Music is how I’ve made my living, but laughter is how I stay alive.

I've been away from the road and behind a soundboard, looking after Mom I’m at home cooking up a storm, probably overdoing the garlic, and always hoping someone’s there to taste-test and roast my knife skills. I drink socially (once or twice a month), and I’m actively trying to quit smoking—because I want to stick around for the good stuff.

If you’re a woman who can appreciate dry wit, belly laughs, deep talks, and someone who really listens to what you say (and probably adds a soundtrack to it), we might just get along. Bonus points if you also think redheads are the best kind of trouble.
